The Business Society
Presentation of the Business Society activities
The staff of BEM department provide support to some student activities related to their interests while they study . The Business Society was created in 2009 as the framework to these activities. The aim is to provide a dynamic and practical platform for students to enhance their business skills and knowledge. At the moment, there are four clubs organized within the Business Society. In addition, the Business Society also organize activities for the students of BEM department and Clubs.

Chinese Traditional Book Donation by Yili Media
On 3rd June, Yili Media donated more than 40
books on Chinese traditional culture to XJTLU library with a total value of
about RMB3000. Yili Media had the honour of inviting the Vice President for
Academic Affairs, Professor David Sadler; Head of Department (BEM), Dr. Boon
Leing Tan; Dr. Stanley Liau from EEE department and; a representative from the
Library. The event was also attended by academic staff from BEM and EEE as well
as colleagues from CLCC and ELC.
Yili Media is a non-profit start-up operating under the Entrepreneurship Club within The Business Society, supported and managed by BEM.
