Mark Coyle moved to Suzhou in July 2004 to establish the first native speaker courses at Suzhou Agriculture College in Tourism and Business English. He has a strong commitment to China, and is currently completing his seventh year working with Chinese students. His experience in China includes a combination of teaching, examining, curriculum design and bi-lingual training.
He has developed a keen awareness of Chinese students’ abilities and needs; working in a range of working environments, with varying age groups and ability levels has given him a wide range of teaching strategies and experiences of learning in China.
He currently works at XJTLU as an Associate Tutor, teaching EAP and ESAP to first year students.
