Biography:

Trevor Wilson has lived in Asia for nearly twenty years and has been teaching Chinese students for even longer than that. His last appointments were at the University of Brunei Darussalam in Brunei where he taught AP ESP and Business English as well as courses in teching methodology for trainee teachers .During the summer holidays in 2005 and 2007 he taught EAP at Loughborough University in England to graduates from many parts of the world who were going to do their Masters degree at Loughborough.
Trevor has an M.A. in Literature and Language from Otago University in New Zealand, an R.S.A Delta from Cambridge University in England and a Post Graduate Diploma in teaching from Auckland Teachers College in Auckland, New Zealand. His previous experience includes being Head of Department of a large secondary school In New Zealand and being a senior lecturer at the Institute of Education in Singapore, the city state’s one teacher training institution.
It was those five years in Singapore which confirmed his interest in teacher training but it was his experience and enjoyment with the teaching of Chinese students that eventually brought him to live and work in Suzhou at XJTLU.
