Biography:

Dennis was born in London and grew up in Dublin. He attended Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 1984 with a BA in English Literature and History. He trained as a teacher of English as a second language in London and then moved to Spain, where he taught for 15 years. He left Spain in 2000 and worked at the American College Dublin until 2002, when he moved to Manchester and studied for a Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching. Dennis has been an examiner for Cambridge University since 1997 for a range of examinations. His interest include: travel, languages, cinema, cooking, live music, stand-up comedy, hiking and snorkelling. He gave up smoking when he was 30!
