Biography:

Nicole completed her PhD at The University of York (UK). Her research interests include English teaching methodology, language learning and teaching and education policy. She also has an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Canterbury Christ Church College (UK).
She has taught for 8 years, working with students of all ages from 2 to adult. Whilst studying for her PhD in the UK, she worked for 2 years as an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Language) Tutor for City of York Council, teaching English to immigrants from Asia and East-Europe.
Before relocating to China, she worked at The University of York Careers Service, coordinating a Sino-British centre for enterprise and employability.
