2017 China-UK Technology & Innovation Forum: Smarter UK: AI and Bio-Pharm Sessions

Events

Innovation China UK (ICUK) was a QMUL-based £5million UK-China collaborative knowledge transfer programme funded by Higher Education Funding Council in England and UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Between 2007-2010, 72 projects in the area of healthcare, materials, engineering and low-carbon technology have been successfully funded by the ICUK Collaboration Development Fund.

Funded by the FCO Prosperity Fund, BIS Global Partnership Fund (GPF) and supported by the UK Science and Innovation Network (SIN), the Technology Partnering Programme has been implemented by ICUK since 2010. In 2015, 46 out of 50 organizations joining ICUK technology partnering programme have responded with further details of their progress with their collaboration and of these 29 reported income-generation.

To improve the collaboration between the British and Chinese companies, XJTLU and OUI is holding the 2017 China-UK Technology & Innovation Forum- Smarter UK: AI and Bio-Pharm Sessions to enhance the communication with the local companies and academics on the research, innovation and talents.
