What is Poster Day?

Poster Day provides opportunities for public communication; to present PhD students’ research to a degree educated general public in other research areas, and to gain feedback on their presentation and research from senior academics and fellow research students.

What is the aim of Poster Day?

This event has wider aims: to contribute to a strong and vibrant postgraduate research community, and by serving as a social and networking event where learning, feedback and information is freely exchanged between subject areas and departments, in a friendly and supportive environment.

Event Schedule

  • 1:00 – 1:30pm Registration
  • 1:30 – 1:50pm Welcome Speech: Professor David Goodman (Vice President, Academic Affairs)
  • 1:50 – 3:15pm Poster Presentations and Academic Judging
  • 3:15 – 3:30pm Tea Break
  • 3:30 – 4:30pm Award Ceremony and Closing Words: Professor David Goodman (Vice President, Academic Affairs)
  • 4:30pm End of the Event
