Title

Architecture beyond Architecture: Types of Relations between Forms and Politics

Abstract

In what ways does micro and macro political practice get involved in and with material forms and spaces? This lecture – based on the speaker’s collection of essays of two decades – speculates on a new method with which a list of cases is identified. Adopting a ‘horizontal’ and concrete approach, forms, culture, aesthetics, state practice and geo-politics are viewed together in a new perspective.
