VIDEO: Round-table on Made in China 2025

June 02, 2017

Experts met at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University for a panel discussion on how academia, corporations, and professional services can cooperate to improve Italy’s involvement in the Made In China 2025 programme.

Made In China 2025 is the government’s plan to transform Chinese industry, and while it draws inspiration from Germany’s Industry 4.0 plan, Dr Guido Giacconi explained that the Chinese plan is far more detailed and comprehensive.

The discussion was part of an event, Yi Tech, that was organised by Roberta Donà of International Business School Suzhou at XJTLU and colleagues, and included an exhibition of Italian technology companies operating in China.
