XJTLU Holds First Parents Conference

 (Xi’an, China – 9th June 2009) The first conference of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Parents Association was held in Xi’an, attended by nearly hundred parents of our students from Xi’an. At the conference, Vice President Prof Minzhu Yang made a presentation, briefing the parents on a number of activities of the University around our advanced education philosophy and the students’ vibrant campus life with varied and colorful pictures and words. After that, the parents were gratified. Many parents raised questions and extended their appreciations.

It is said that the XJTLU Parents Association aims to build an integrated education system to strengthen the relationship between parents and the University, parents and parents, parents and tutors, and parents and students. Its mission is to promote the University’s unique philosophy, increase communication between the University and the parents and provide support for the students’ all-round development. The Parents Association will launch a number of activities.
