XJTLU’s Research Projects Obtain Financial Aid from SIP

 

It is reported that Prof Hongcai Wu and Prof Lianfeng Liu obtained financial aid for their research projects from the Guiding Fund for Service Industry (Outsourcing) of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP).
The projects are New Energy Technology Service Centre of Prof Wu and Mathematical and Financial Computing Service Platform of Prof Liu. The New Energy Technology Service Centre will provide services such as test analysis for research institutes and photonics industry in terms of research of new materials and development of new energy technologies, while the Mathematical and Financial Computing Service Platform will design and provide training services in terms of financial calculation and financial mathematics for financial enterprises and research institutes.


In order to guide and promote the input into service industry, enlarge its size, optimize the economic structure, improve its level and facilitate the economic development in Suzhou, SIP has decided to provide financial aid to the leading projects in service industry and public (information) service platforms, which are helpful to the development of service industry and service outsourcing. As a university located in SIP, XJTLU has, since its establishment, defined its vision to become a research-led international university and its mission to serve social development.
