Fangyu Guo Ph.D.

Assistant professor

Dr. Guo got her PhD and MSc degrees in civil engineering major (specializing in construction management) from Iowa State University, U.S. She was an ASCE National, Construction Institute, and Iowa Section Member. She joined the Department of Civil Engineering at XJTLU since 2017. She has been teaching project management and construction management related modules. She has been serving as the Programme Director of BEng Architectural Engineering and year 4 leader of CEN department since 2020.

She has successfully supervised master and PhD students until completion. Her research interests include digital transformation, digital twin, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Civil Integrated Management (CIM) and general project management related areas. For students who have the interests in doing research assistants or pursuing PhD degree in these areas, feel free to have the discussions with her for the possible offers.
