What started as a blog run by a young architecture student in 2008 has become a complex project involving thousands of people from all over the world. First stepping stones were the first 3D models Matus came out with. In the course of time, more and more people supported his efforts and joined FlyingArchitecture by sharing their own works. FA became also an architectural visualization studio, focusing on high end photorealistic and emotional imagery.
Matus started FlyingArchitecture as a young architecture student, with a vision to help other Rhinoceros users and strong will to enrich the whole community - he started building his own library of custom 3D models, which were published online for free, so anyone could benefit from his effort. Shortly it became extremely popular among the community. Matus is also a CGI artist focusing all his visions and research towards large scale exterior visualizations and shares his knowledge with students on both FlyingArchitecture's own workshops and on Faculty of Architecture in Brno, where he leads an Emotional Visualization classes.
Lukas is 32 years old CGI artist coming from Slovakia. He studied at a technical university in his hometown Kosice, where he got a masters degree in civil engineering.
It was during these studies when he first came upon the term "architectural visualisation", which slowly became his hobby and passion, and after the studies, also his profession.
He has been using workflow which consists of Rhino, Vray and Photoshop for the past 8 years.
During our 5 days course, we will go through a complete process of creating a high end imagery - Students will obtain a complete 3D model in Rhinoceros 5, which will be used for further explanation of materials, lighting, V-Ray settings, composition and camera setup, followed by rendering a final high res image. These outcomes will be used for extensive postproduction in Photoshop, finalized and discussed personally with tutors towards the end of the workshop. Tutors will have a personalized approach for each student, explaining all necessary information in detail.
