Marketing Team

The Marketing Team directs XJTLU's strategic brand development and engages domestic and international audiences to deliver targeted, personalized, and effective digital and off-line marketing campaigns.

We support student recruitment, develop marketing insights, monitor brand perception, undertake project planning, and improve conversion and performance.

We take the lead on:

  • brand strategy
  • corporate-level collateral
  • promotional content and messaging
  • website architecture
  • email marketing
  • CRM management
  • marketing research
  • advertising and campaigns

Web Team

The Web Team is responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the main XJTLU website. The Web Team works closely with MITS and liaises with other departments and offices across XJTLU to understand their requirements from the website. Coordinating with Marketing, Integrated Media, and Communications teams, the Web Team supports in ensuring the website is updated in a timely manner, provides a robust service and supports marketing and recruitment activities.

We take the lead on:

  • planning and implementing enhancements to XJTLU's official website (www.xjtlu.edu.cn); developing requirements, drafting requests for proposals, evaluating vendors and managing projects
  • coordinating integration with CRM, payment gateways, online stores and other University systems
  • maintaining XJTLU's visual identity in the web environment
  • regular collection, analysis and reporting on website statistics
  • optimising user experiences
  • conducting and monitoring tests to improve website performance, including speed, security and stability
  • working with Marketing, Communications, and Integrated Media teams to develop SEO, paid search, and advertising strategies
  • providing expertise to guide and support other digital strategies
  • helping plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests to guide campaigns
  • utilising strong analytical ability and data-driven decision making to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across the XJTLU website, other channels and customer touch points as needed.

Integrated Media Team

The Integrated Media team is responsible for producing high-quality creative, visual, and social content for the University that supports the University’s brand and its marketing and communications strategy.

We take the lead on:

  • branding and design, including the implementation of the University’s Visual Identity guidelines, the production of University marketing collateral, and the support of key events with marketing materials
  • video and photography, which includes audio-visual support to key events and the planning and execution of creative audio-visual projects
  • social media management
  • digital content curation.

Communications Team

The Communications Team contributes to improving XJTLU brand awareness domestically and globally, increasing students and staff recruitment, and strengthening communication on campus.

We take lead on:

  • brand communications strategy, planning and campaigns
  • promotional content creation in multiple languages
  • media and government relations management
  • multimedia channels
  • communications committees

We also provide professional support to our students, staff, offices and departments, including:

  • news coverage
  • events listing
  • proofreading of promotional content
  • media invitation
  • photography
  • professional training
