​What kind of international youth is needed for the future of China?

Jay Wei graduated from Zhejiang University and is an experienced and successful entrepreneur. Under his successful leadership, Jincheng Group has become a modern international industrial economic enterprise covering several different fields, with affiliates in seven countries and over 60 cities around the world. In 2015, Jay won the prize of 'China Economic Person of the Year' in 2015, while his work analysing economics has been covered by the Wall Street Journal , Forbes, Bazaar, Hurun Report, People and other top media across the world.

In the last two months, Jay has attended the 38th Canada-China Business Council meeting, meeting with Canadian premier Justin Trudeau and participating in a series of activities during the premier Keqiang Li’s visit to Canada. Jay was also the only Asian guest speaker at the 17th World Knowledge Forum, as well as meeting with Japan Mikado at the 40th International College of Surgeons Global Meeting in Kyoto, Japan.


Jay will share his experience to explain the avenues and possibilities of combining an ‘international vision ’and ‘Chinese wisdom’ to become a successful entrepreneur. He will also discuss with XJTLU students how the young generation in China should embrace changes and face challenges in the world.
