XJTLU Museum “W•E SALON” Event: A story of Sarah being a slasher: University teacher/Standup comedian

XJTLU Museum presents a series of lectures and activities for XJTLU students and staff to extend their insight about learning, career and even the life. “W•E Salon” is a brand series event which is organised by XJTLU Museum. Renowned artists, entrepreneurs, talk show actors, authors and scholars who are widely recognized for their achievements in different fields will be invited to “W•E Salon”. Here comes the second series.

XJTLU Museum invites Ms Huijuan (Sarah) Peng, a Teaching Fellow in International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at XJTLU to share her story of being a university teacher slash standup comedian. You will have the chance to see her exciting live stand-up comedy performance as well on 14 December.

Ms Sarah Peng
Sarah Peng is a Teaching Fellow in International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) where she also serves as the Programme Director for the BA, Human Resource Management (HRM). Additionally, Sarah was selected as a speaker in the [email protected] conference in November 2017 and she performs standup comedy in English as a hobby since 2014. On stage, she wants to develop her own unique voice. She believes laughing can connect people and the world.
