From the United Kingdom, Kimvi studied Fine Art Sculpture at the University of Southampton - Winchester School of Art in England.

Kimvi's expertise lies in contemporary performance art and performance art filmmaking, with a focus on addressing societal issues related to sustainable living and construction. Her artistic vision centres around creating accessible art on a "Human Scale". This is achieved through the combination of vernacular techniques and architecture, utilising local materials and skills seen in Kimvi's 2022 Lucitopia residency in Jiangxi Province, China.
