Nanlin Jin PhD

Associate professor

Dr Nanlin Jin has worked as senior lecturer in the UK, prior to joining Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. She has been PI or Co-I to the projects funded by Innovate UK, UK EPSRC, UK NERC, EU and industry, in the areas of data mining and AI-IoT.

Currently her research is partially supported by the XJTLU AI University Research Centre, and Jiangsu Province Engineering Research Centre of Data Science and Cognitive Computation at XJTLU.

Her research has delivered international impact, which was recognized by UK Research Excellence Framework (REF2021) and published into an Impact case study: Improved Interoperability and Data Sharing on the Internet of Things. REF is UK national research assessment and undertaken by the four UK higher education funding bodies. It runs every 7 years.
