张佩琢博士是吉玛基因主要创始人、董事长兼首席科学家，有十几年在英国大学和公司从事基因化学研究、产品开发和生产的经验。其它创始人和高层管理人员也都拥有多年在国内外同类公司从事公司全面管理、研发、生产管理、销售管理、质量管理和后勤管理等多方面的经验。
本科毕业于天津大学精细化工专业，后获北京医科大学博士，伦敦大学国王学院博士后。是省双创、姑苏领军、园区领军人才获得者；863计划、重大新药创制计划评审专家。有着30余年药物化学、核酸化学研究和产业经历，全面的研发、生产、销售管理经验。在国际刊物上发表23篇论文，申请发明专利61项。
Dr. Zhang Peizhuo was recognized as one of the first Leading Technological Talents in SIP.
He graduated with doctoral degree from College of Pharmacy at Beijing Medical University and a postdoctoral degree of University of London. Dr. Zhang has about thirty years of professional experiences and specialized in chemistry of nucleic acid, the R&D of related products, industrialization as well as marketing. He has published over 20 articles on international journals and owns three patents.
In 2007, Dr. Zhang founded Suzhou Genepharma at BioBay. Genepharma is a biotech company focusing on RNA-based technologies, -services and –supplies which has established a comprehensive RNA manufacturing facility to provide a wide range of open-access technology platforms and services for RNAi, gRNA, mRNA therapeutics and RNA biomarkers. Dr. Zhang had also participated in the National 863 project and national major new drug project review for several times.
