Profile
Dr. Tang received her MSc (2012) & BSc (2009) degree in Bioengineering from Central South University, studying bioleaching bacteria. She earned her PhD degree (2022) in Agricultural Entomology and Pest Control from China Agricultural University, studying biological adaptation in the perspective of symbiosis.Dr. Tang worked for BGI (2012-2017) and Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Food Nutrition and Human Health (2017-2018) as a researcher in bioinformatics, mainly focusing on biodiversity genomics.
Dr. Tang is now an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences in XJTLU. Her major research interests will be the consequences of numerous pressing environmental issues, and multi-omics and biological experiments will be combined to understand the biological adaptation of the threatened animals. Dr. Tang's lab is looking for highly motivated, creative Ph.D students who are interested in ecological and evolutionary adaptation.
