For full-time students, the tuition fee payable on postgraduate research programmes is RMB 99,000 per year. It normally takes three to four years to complete a full-time doctoral programme.
For part-time students, tuition fee payable is RMB 75,000 per year. Part-time doctoral study is typically completed in four to six years.

The tuition fee payable for the EdD programme is RMB 80,000 per year. It normally takes 5.5 years to complete the programme.
ALUMNI DISCOUNT
If you are graduates of XJTLU, the University of Liverpool or Xi’an Jiaotong University, you will automatically receive a discount of 20 percent of the tuition fee.
PAYING FEES
If you (or external sponsor) are responsible for paying your fees, the payment can be made directly to XJTLU through internet payment or bank transfer on a yearly basis.
First year’s tuition fee should be paid before commencement of your programme of study, through bank transfer following the instruction of your admission notice.
For the subsequent years, the annual tuition fee should be paid in full by the due date on the notification of tuition fee payment.
