Call for Papers | The 11th International Conference on The Chinese Economy: Past, Present and Future

Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University and International Business School Suzhou, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (IBSS, XJTLU) will co-host the 11th international conference on the Chinese Economy: Past, Present and Future, on December 14 (Saturday) of 2024 at Suzhou, Jiangsu, P.R. China. The theme of the conference is on all aspects of Chinese economy including but not limited to:

  • Growth and Development
  • Financial sector including banking, stock and futures markets
  • Trade, international investment
  • Environment, nature resources and climate
  • Urbanization, migrations, transports
  • Reform of the state-owned enterprises

In cooperation with International Review of Economics and Finance (SSCI, impact factor 4.8), selected papers will be nominated for submission to IREF.

Please submit your papers to ICCE submission portal for full considerations. The deadline for abstract submission is September 12 and the deadline for full paper submission is October 20. The selection outcome will be notified before October 31.

XJTLU will provide two-day accommodation (December 13&14) to non-local paper presenters and catering to all presenters (December 14). The non-local presenters are responsible for their own travelling costs.

All submissions will be selected by a review committee for paper presentation on the conference. The review committee also nominates the papers for submission to IREF.
