Abstract
With the announcement of the shortlisted works, the final evaluation of the 2025 Taicang Youth Vanguard Images Season is approaching. A total of 23 shortlisted films will be screened from 20 to 31 October 2025 at the G Building Hall of the Academy of Film and Creative Technology, XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, in an open on-site exhibition. University students and members of the public are warmly invited to attend and experience the creativity of emerging filmmakers.
The exhibition is supported by the Academy of Film and Creative Technology as a co-organiser. The event not only provides a platform for young creators to showcase and exchange ideas but also serves as a window for university communities and the wider public to engage with contemporary youth expressions in film and media. As a supporting partner, the Academy actively fosters collaboration between academic and creative sectors, striving to build an open and inclusive ecosystem for art and innovation that bridges education, industry and society.
