Recently, the students and faculty of the School of Internet of Things visited Weiss Voetsch (China)’s facility in Taicang, gaining first-hand exposure to one of the leading providers of environmental simulation and temperature and humidity testing solutions.

The visit began with an introductory session led by the company’s HR manager Coco, who presented an overview of Weiss-Voetsch (China)’s history, its core product portfolio, and its long-standing partnerships with clients across the automotive, electronics, and battery industries.

Following the introduction, a product Manager Kevin delivered a detailed presentation on the company’s main product lines, explaining their key functions and technical advantages. The Manager highlighted how Weiss-Voetsch (China)’s solutions outperform both domestic and international competitors, particularly in terms of precision, energy efficiency, and reliability under extreme testing conditions.

The tour concluded with a comprehensive walkthrough of the facility, guided by the Production Manager Gary. The group was taken through the production factories, assembly lines, and the on-site test house, where related functions, such as temperature, humidity, and climate stress tests, are tested on equipment before delivery to customers.

Participants noted that the visit offered valuable practical insights into how theoretical concepts in thermal management and materials testing are applied in real-world industrial settings.
