Overview

Following XJTLU’s exciting and innovative Syntegrative Educational Model, this programme is an equal collaboration between the University and its industry partner, Haier Group, at the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem in XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang).

Students completing the degree programme will graduate equipped with the skills to pursue a career in intelligent manufacturing engineering, an emerging industry driven by rapid technological advancements.

UK degrees are three years long whereas in China they are four, therefore we do accept students with certain qualifications directly into Year Two, which is the start of the main academic programme. Most students, however, enter into Year One, which provides you with a range of interesting modules, language classes and core skills for your degree.

Careers

Graduates from this programme are well prepared for careers in technical, managerial and leadership roles in areas such as manufacturing process expert or systems engineer and will be capable of taking responsibility for the technical operation of an intelligent production line. The programme also provides a solid foundation for further studies in the field of mechanical/electrical engineering, materials, manufacturing and industrial/technology management, data analysis, intelligent and control systems.
