The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) recently released a list of grants awarded in 2024. School of Mathematics and Physics (SMP) at XJTLU academics have been awarded 8 grants by NSFC.
One of the grants is the Research Fund for International Young Scientists, and three of the successful projects are awarded funding in the General Program category. The remaining three are in the Young Scientists Fund category. A total of over 3 million RMB in research grants was awarded to eight projects proposed by SMP, setting a new historical record for both the number and the total funding of NSFC.
SMP extends its warmest congratulations and takes immense pride in the outstanding achievements of these academics. The support from the NSFC will provide strong backing for the researchers' work and inject new vitality into the SMP's research development.
The School of Mathematics and Physics has always adhered to a research-oriented development strategy, continuously increasing investment in scientific research, optimising the research environment, and stimulating the innovative potential of faculty and students. The receipt of NSFC funding by these eight researchers is a significant milestone in the SMP's research endeavours and a strong testament to the SMP's research capabilities.
