On 16 April, Academy of Future Education held a commencement ceremony for its master’s students. More than 100 graduates from the Global Education, Child Development and Family Education programmes gathered with faculty and guests to mark this academic milestone together.
Professor Xiaojun Zhang, Chief Officer of Education of XJTLU and the Executive Dean of AoFE, delivered congratulations to the graduating class. He emphasized that the coming decades will be a transformative era for education, one that demands not traditional teachers, but educators who can inspire students to discover and become their best selves.

Professor Zhang also reaffirmed the Academy’s commitment to lifelong learning. “The Academy of Future Education is more than a place of study; it’s a home for lifelong learners. You’re always welcome back,” he said, noting its annual professional development events that support educators throughout their careers. He encouraged graduates to stay engaged with the community and to continue growing as future leaders in education.
During the ceremony, Dr Tim London, the Director of Learning and Teaching at the Academy, announced the recipients of the 2024–25 Academic Excellence and Dissertation Awards. The awards recognized students who demonstrated academic rigor, strong research capabilities, and professional dedication. Professor Zhang and Dr London presented the certificates to the honorees, whose achievements serve as inspiration for their peers.
