The International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University was honored to serve as a Gold Sponsor for the Suzhou 2025 Women's Leadership Conference hosted by AmCham Shanghai’s Suzhou Center on April 17. As an institution committed to advancing gender equality and women's leadership in business, we were proud to support this important initiative.

This 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership Conference brought together 100 professionals and changemakers to discuss female leadership, innovation, and career advancement in an evolving global landscape. IBSS actively participated in the day's discussions, with our faculty sharing valuable insights on creating more inclusive workplaces and developing future female leaders.

Dr Ellen Touchstone, Associate Dean for Responsible and Sustainable Business Education at IBSS, played a key role in the event as the conference host. Her leadership helped facilitate meaningful conversations about gender diversity in the workplace. Professor Hefei Wang, Associate Dean for Academic Engagement at IBSS, contributed significantly to the dialogue, drawing insightful parallels between adaptability in STEM fields and business leadership during her session.

As a triple-accredited business school (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) as well as a PRME Champion, IBSS is deeply committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in management education. The sponsorship of this conference reflects IBSS’s dedication to empowering women in business and creating opportunities for leadership development. We believe events like this are crucial for building supportive networks and sharing best practices to advance gender equality in professional settings.

The Suzhou 2025 Women's Leadership Conference provided an excellent platform to showcase our commitment to responsible business education and to connect with other organizations working toward similar goals. We look forward to continuing these important conversations and collaborating with external partners on future initiatives that promote women's leadership and inclusive growth.
