20 Jan 2026

International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) is pleased to announce that Professor Eddy Fang, Dean of IBSS, has been appointed to the International Accreditation Advisory Board (IAAB) of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and Business Graduates Association (BGA), with effect from January 2026.

AMBA is one of the world’s leading authorities on business education and accredits MBA, DBA and master’s-level programmes at leading business schools worldwide. Alongside AMBA, the BGA operates as a global membership and development network, supporting business schools in areas such as continuous improvement, responsible management education, sustainability and societal impact. Together, AMBA & BGA work with business schools across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.

The IAAB brings together experienced deans and senior academic leaders from AMBA-accredited schools, representing a diversity of educational systems and regional contexts. It advises AMBA & BGA on the development and review of accreditation criteria, endorses accreditation and reaccreditation decisions and helps to ensure standards remain rigorous, consistent and relevant as business education evolves.

“In a period of profound change for global business education, international accreditation offers a vital space for collective reflection on quality, relevance and future direction. This appointment offers an opportunity to contribute perspectives shaped by IBSS, an institution operating between UK and Chinese traditions of business education.”
