In today's era of rapid technological and geopolitical change, why does studying international relations matter?
In response to this question from XJTLU International Relations Year 2 student Yuxuan Liu, internationally renowned economist Professor Jeffrey Sachs shared his answer.
Professor Sachs is Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. He has long focused on global development, sustainable development, and international governance. He has also been named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world twice.
