From the first class in the spring breeze of March to the graduation at the Dragon Boat Festival in June, the Practical Chinese Spring Course has reached a wonderful conclusion.

On June 18, nearly 90 international students from all over the world gathered together for our closing ceremony integrated with a Dragon Boat Festival cultural celebration. After receiving completion certificates, participants immersed themselves in traditional festival craft stations, preserving their semester-long Chinese learning gains through the charm of folk customs.
At the graduation ceremony, certificates were presented to students from all four levels. Each certificate marked a journey of growth, filled with laughter and hard work in the classroom.
After the certificates, the Dragon Boat Festival activities began! From one-of-a-kind lacquer fans to fragrant sachets and lucky five-colored cords — each handmade souvenir carried the students’ understanding of the Dragon Boat Festival and became a special "Chinese keepsake" of the summer.

The spring semester draws to an end, with lingering warmth of Dragon Boat Festival traditions. In XJTLU's Practical Chinese classroom, we don't just learn the language — we reach out and touch culture with our own hands. From hand‑painted character art and delicate luodian inlay to Dragon Boat Festival crafts, every workshop invites students to discover Chinese aesthetics through creation and to build cross‑cultural friendships through shared moments of making. May all students carry the gains of this semester and Dragon Boat Festival blessings forward on their Chinese learning journey. We look forward to welcoming you again this autumn!
