Mr. Li Chen is the founder of Sensor Architecture Studio (SAS), Shanghai, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a member of the Shanghai Architectural Society. He graduated from the Department of Architecture at the China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree, and pursued a master's degree in Urban Design at the City University of New York (CUNY), under the guidance of Professor Wang Shu and Professor Michael Sorkin. After returning to China, He worked as a chief architect for many years, accumulating rich experience by various projects. He founded SAS in 2019 and proposed a design concept of "Contemporary Forest"; it accommodates sufficient complexity and diversity, being both sensitive to the environment and possessing its overall purity.
