The IBSS Live Streaming Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that supports immersive digital media production and real-time broadcasting, located in BS229. The laboratory is equipped with professional video switching systems, HD web cameras, studio-grade table microphone and speaker systems, teleprompters, camera stands, and transparent writing boards, enabling high-quality live streaming and interactive content creation.
As live streaming and intelligent media technologies continue to evolve rapidly, the lab provides a controlled yet flexible environment in which researchers can design and study streaming workflows, audience interaction models, and AI-assisted broadcasting applications. Aligned with research-led teaching, students could utilise the lab for project-based learning and dissertation research, strengthening their technical competencies and experimental research skills.
