Professor Mark Leach’s experience includes over 15 years as an accomplished engineering researcher and lecturer. He is the Director of the Suzhou Municipal Key Laboratory for Broadband Wireless Access Technologies. His research background is focused on radio frequency (RF) engineering, with specific interests in the following areas: microwave antenna design, wearable antenna design, RF energy harvesting, microwave imaging technologies, microwave holography, and microwave antenna near-field and far-field measurement techniques. He has worked at Vickers Defence Systems (UK), Northumbria University (UK), SeoulTech (South Korea) and XJTLU.
