• Contest Theme: Draw Green Together
• Hosted By: Department of Health and Environmental Sciences, School of Science, Xi'an Jiaotong - Liverpool University
• Purpose: This contest aims to raise students' awareness of environmental protection, encourage creative thinking, and showcase the characteristics of the Department of Health and Environmental Science. It also serves to celebrate Earth Day in a creative and engaging way.

Event Elements Incorporation
1. Earth Environment and Ecology Themes
Designs should reflect aspects of environmental protection, sustainable development, biodiversity, or the delicate balance of ecosystems. This could include images of endangered species, clean energy symbols, or representations of a healthy planet.
2. Department-specific Elements
Elements such as the school and department's name, research focuses, and the academic mission of integrating health and environmental studies should be incorporated into the T-shirt designs.

3. AI-assisted design will be allowed, but please indicate the detailed roles of AI in your final submission.
Prizes
1. First Prize (1 winner)
• A high-quality professional T-shirt with the winning design printed on it.
• A certificate of honor.
• A cash prize of 2000 RMB.
• An opportunity to present the design concept at an environmental seminar organized by the department.
• A reserved seat for a field trip organized by the department.
2. Second Prize (2 winners)
• A certificate of honor.
• A cash prize of 1000 RMB.
• A reserved seat for a field trip organized by the department.
3. Third Prize (3 winners)
• A certificate of honor.

4. Honorable Mentions (10 winners)
• A certificate of honor.

Timeline
Design Submission: April 8-16
• Registered participants should submit their T-shirt design works in digital format. Acceptable formats include vector files (such as AI, EPS, SVG, PDF), PNG, or PSD. All submissions must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi, and the maximum file size for each entry is 100 MB.
• Designs should include a brief description (within 200 words) explaining how the department-specific and environmental elements are integrated.
• Personal information, including name, grade, major, cell phone, and frequently used email, should be provided when submitting.
Preliminary Screening: April 16
• A preliminary review panel composed of faculty members from the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences will screen the submitted designs. They will select the top 20 - 30 designs based on creativity, relevance to the themes, and technical feasibility of printing on T-shirts.
Online/offline Voting: April 17-18
• The shortlisted designs will be posted on the school's official website for online voting, and in Senken Hall for offline voting.
• The public, including students, faculty, and alumni, can vote for their favorite designs.
• Online/offline votes will account for 40% of the final score.
Final Judging: April 19
• A final judging panel, consisting of representatives from the SCI school, will evaluate the short-listed designs. Their scores will account for 60% of the final score. The evaluation criteria will include creativity, theme-relevance, aesthetic appeal, and the expression of the department's characteristics.
T-shirt making: April 20-22
• The winning design will be made into a T-shirt.
Award Ceremony (On Earth Day): April 23
• The winning designs will be announced and awarded during an Earth Day-themed event on campus.
