Event Introduction
Chinese pop music is not merely the art of melody but the crystallization of words and emotion. Classic pop lyrics serve as emotional containers and collective memories for generations, subtly shaping our emotional states while also inspiring curatorial creativity. This session will delve into the world of Chinese pop lyrics, exploring themes of “emotion” and “creativity,” and will feature a small autumn evening sing-along and discussion with XJTLUers.

Exhibition Introduction
Initiated by renowned curator Zhang Wenling and spearheaded by acclaimed Chinese lyricist Li Zhuoxiong as the lead conceptual artist, the world's first immersive Chinese-language lyrics exhibition “WeWORD”—exclusively hosted by SBS Cultural and Creative Industry Center—opened its sole 2025 mainland China edition at Suzhou Mingcheng Art Museum on July 9. Centered around 12 classic and new songs by Li Zhuoxiong, the exhibition employs light projection, voice recognition, and other visual technologies to transform the space into a flowing visual poem of lyrics.
