Currently, the manufacturing industry is undergoing a profound transformation driven by data. Data acquisition, as the "nerve endings" of intelligent manufacturing, directly determines the response speed and decision-making quality of the production system through its collaborative efficiency; while the intelligent upgrading of the supply chain is a key breakthrough for enterprises to break down information silos and achieve end-to-end optimization. However, in practice, enterprises generally face real challenges such as inconsistent data acquisition standards, poor compatibility of software and hardware systems, and difficulties in data integration across different links of the supply chain.
On April 17, 2026, XJTLU International Innovation Hub, together with Suzhou Software Technology Co., Ltd. and the Smart Chain Digital Consortium, jointly held the 50th WIEL, aimed to build a platform for in-depth integration of industry, academia and research, and to bring together practitioners and researchers in the field of intelligent manufacturing to exchange ideas on data acquisition collaboration technology paths, supply chain digital solutions and ecological collaboration models. It also aimed to promote the precise matching and resource linking of technology supply and demand, and help the coordinated upgrading of the regional intelligent manufacturing industry ecosystem.
