Abstract
The 2nd International Conference on AI and Education 2026 (2026ICAIE), convened under the theme “Syntegrative Education Empowered by AI: Personalization and Gamification in a New Era of Learning and Interdisciplinary Integration”, is designed to provide a high-level international forum for scholars and practitioners in the field. Participants will exchange cutting-edge research, deliberate on emerging challenges and their solutions, and map the trajectory of forthcoming technological developments.
In addition to showcasing the University’s applied research in Artificial Intelligence and frontier pedagogies and practices—thereby constituting a strategic showcase for institutional reputation—the conference will serve as a dedicated arena for the presentation and critique of XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang)’s pioneering work in Syntegrative Education. Through the dissemination of findings and pedagogical innovation, the event will foster educational innovation, strengthen university–industry collaboration, advance the institution’s international profile in AI-empowered education, expand staff and student horizons within the global discourse on AI in education, and underpin the University’s long-term strategic vision for AI-empowered educational development.
