Global Adjustments in Economy, Technology, and Environmental Sustainability

The main focus of the conference centers on the recent global challenges and their multifaceted implications for Asia Pacific region, in particular for China. The global economic landscape is currently facing challenges stemming from global and regional factors. These include the complexities of post-pandemic economic recovery, transformations in economic landscapes, the intensifying effects of climate change, energy crises, and the rapid advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. These dynamics not only reshape the region’s economic and social structures but also call for a broader thinking of development paradigms. These challenges necessitate global adjustments in areas such as development, trade and investment, climate change, resilience, innovation, and sustainability, thereby providing a rich avenue for academic exploration and debate. The conference seeks to engage scholars and policymakers in discussions that not only address immediate crises but also envision long-term organizational, governance, and policy frameworks that enhance the collective well-being of societies in the Asia Pacific region, and beyond.

We invite high-quality papers addressing the recent global challenges and their impact on this region. Topics include, but are not limited to, the digital economy and automatic intelligence development; environmental, social, and corporate governance; firm resilience, productivity, and innovation; international trade, investment and finance; monetary and fiscal policy; and financial and real estate markets. The conference brings together editors from leading international journals, who will contribute in different formats, including keynote speeches and interactive editorial sessions.
