Abstract

Design School (DES) at XJTLU in collaboration with Sustainable Built Environment (SBE) Research Group and Department of Architecture and Built Environment (ABE) at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), School of Architecture at Tsinghua University, College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University, School of Architecture at Southeast University, School of Architecture at Soochow University, School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Journal of China City Planning Review (CCPR), GUIHUA Journal are excited to announce our upcoming conference on “Future Human Habitat in the era of AI.”

Prof. Zhiqiang Wu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Fellow of IVA Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science, Professor of Tongji University, National Engineering Survey and Design
Master, Degree Committee of the State Council, Permanent Member of UNESCO-UIA World Architectural Education Council, Vice President of Urban Planning Society of China, urban design innovation (data-driver) both in practice and in methodology for urban sustainability in China, awarded the Shanghai Pioneer, National Labor Award, etc.

 

Prof. Pengjun Zhao is a Full Professor and Dean of the School of Urban Planning and Design at Peking University. He obtained his PhD degree and postdoctoral training in Spatial Planning at University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Prof. Zhao’s research mostly focuses on urban and transport planning, spatial planning, and sustainable mobility. He has obtained more than RMB 35 million of research grants as the Principle Investigator (PI) for 60 research projects which were funded by international and domestic organizations, such as EP7 (EU), EPSRC (UK), NSFC (CN), etc. He has more than 300 research outputs, including 8 books (5 published by Nature Springer), and 160 international peer-reviewed papers. He was ranked as one of Most Cited Chinese Researchers by Elsevier for Year 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 consecutively, and was awarded as the National Outstanding Scholar by the National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2019.
