On June 20th, Ms. Shiny Ping, Human Resources Vice President for the Asia Pacific region and Mr. Ethan Guo, Vibrantz Operations Manager for Asia Pacific region, and other company representatives visited the School of Science of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. It is another collaborative discussion after signing an artificial intelligence (AI) tinting process optimization project with the School of AI and Advanced Computing in April this year. The visit deepened the ties between the two parties in the field of materials science and laid the foundation for a new partnership in the future.
Professor Zhoulin Ruan, Vice President of Academic Affairs at XJTLU，Professor John Moraros, Dean of the School of Science at XJTLU, Professor Li Yang, Director of Advanced Materials Research Centre (AMRC) and Associate Dean for Research and Impact,School of Science, Professor Konstantinos Papadikis Deputy Director AMRC from the Design School at XJTLU, Professor Jia Meng, Head of the Department,Biological Sciences,School of Science, Dr Eric Amigues, Acting Head of the Department of Chemistry, School of Science and other representatives from the School of Science and the School of AI and Advanced Computing attended the event.
In April this year, XJTLU AMRC was officially established, marking an important step forward in XJTLU's technological innovation and industrial development in the field of materials science and engineering. The Center is committed to integrating resources inside and outside the university to further promote scientific discovery and technological innovation and industrial development in the field of materials science and engineering.

In the opening remarks, Professor Zhoulin Ruan, Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, expressed his hope that through this visit, the existing cooperation between the two sides could be extended to fields related to advanced materials research.
Ms. Shiny Ping is introducing Vibrantz company
At the meeting, Ms. Shiny Ping, Human Resources Vice President for the Asia Pacific region , introduced Vibrantz company's history, vision, and current focus on advanced materials, color solutions and performance coatings. She also shared the possibility of cooperation in talent training, student internship programs, and graduate student supports.
Professor John Moraros is sharing the information about the School of Science
Professor John Moraros, Dean of the School of Science, stated that he was impressed by the culture and teamwork that Vibrantz showcased, "For any company to be successful, it is important resource, it’s the human resource and the ability to establish a strong culture based on unique identity and sense of belonging among its people. These are the key characteristics that both Vibrantz and the School of Science and XJTLU share in common.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ethan Guo, Vibrantz Operations Manager for Asia Pacific region, also mentioned the huge potential brought by artificial intelligence in the field.
He said. "Adopting this transformative technology is critical if companies want to remain competitive. This is an important part of our strategic vision, and we are delighted to explore ways of working with the School of Science at XJTLU to collaborate in the field of materials science and to have the opportunity to learn from the school and combine the strengths of both parties to develop new strategies and models together."
