Academy of Future Education held the 2025 Spring Internship and Career Fair on 16 April. The event featured 16 leading education institutions and enterprises, including Suzhou Industrial Park Wenjing Kindergarten, Peking University New Century Shiheng School, and UWC China Changshu.

Coinciding with graduation season, the fair offered both internships and full-time positions, actively supporting students in their transition to employment. It played an important role in promoting effective matches between graduates and employers.

Dr Tim London (pictured below), Director of Learning and Teaching at AoFE, opened the event by expressing gratitude to both employers and students. He encouraged students to take advantage of the opportunity to engage directly with organizations, gain insights, and hear constructive feedback. He shared his hope that students would develop a clearer understanding of themselves, define their career goals, and identify their future direction, whether during internships or in formal employment later on.

Mr. Jiping Wei, Head of the International Division at Suzhou Beida New Century Shiheng School, introduced the school’s background. He warmly welcomed XJTLU students to apply for full-time teaching positions and contribute to the development of future-oriented education.

Ms. Duan, Director of the Teaching and Research Office at Suzhou Industrial Park Wenjing Kindergarten, presented the school’s internship programme. The internship roles incorporate project-based learning and research-driven education. She invited future educators to join the team and contribute to the field of early childhood education.

When asked about the university’s employment support and her personal takeaways, Yanrong Zhu, a student majoring in International Education, shared her experience: “The university’s recruitment fair matched my job search needs very well. It not only provided a wide range of opportunities but also included internal referral channels to partner organizations. Through in-depth conversations with recruiters, I was able to clarify my career path and identify weaknesses in my resume. The university’s professional CV review service was incredibly helpful. The advisors were experienced and offered practical guidance to help me improve my application.”

The successful event created valuable opportunities for students in the Academy of Future Education. Going forward, the Academy will continue to support students with career development services, including ongoing guidance on career planning and workplace adaptation, to ensure a smooth transition from university to professional life.
