IoT Final Year Project Poster Competition Event Review

On May 9th, the School of Internet of Things successfully hosted the Final Year Project Poster Competition. The event was organized by Dr Shuangyao Huang, the final year project coordinator of the School of Internet of Things, in collaboration with the school administrative team. It showcased the impressive academic achievements of the graduating students in a comprehensive manner. The beautifully designed posters not only provided a visual representation of their learning outcomes but also highlighted their dedication and innovation in exploring learning methods and applying knowledge in practice.


The opening of the Final Year Project Poster Competition began with a speech by Dr Matilda Isaac, the Dean of the School of Internet of Things. Dr Isaac warmly welcomed all the guests, staff, and students present.

The competition was hosted by Dr Shuangyao Huang from the School of Internet of Things, who introduced the guest judges and explained the purpose of the event. Subsequently, the three guests each gave a brief self-introduction and shared their expectations for the graduates. They were Dr Yue Wu from East China University of Science and Technology, Dr Lvwei Chen from the Quzhou Radar Remote Sensing Detection and Application Technology Innovation Consortium, and Mr Zeli Lin, General Manager and Executive Director of Langxun Industrial Intelligent Technology (Shanghai).

More than 50 staff members and students attended the event to view the posters created by final year students for their projects. Each student provided a detailed explanation of their project to the attendees, carefully listened to the judges' feedback, and reflected on ways to further improve their work. Staff from various departments of the university, along with external judges, engaged in pleasant conversations with the students during lunch.
The award ceremony was hosted by Dr Shuangyao Huang. Dr Matilda Isaac, the Dean of the School, together with external guest judges, presented certificates and prizes to the students.


Dr Matilda Isaac, the Dean of the School of Internet of Things, warmly presented commemorative medals to the guest judges of this session, expressing gratitude for their participation despite their busy schedules. Dr Isaac also delivered a thank-you speech, extending her appreciation to every staff member who worked hard for the event, as well as to all the staff and students for their efforts behind the scenes.
