On 14 April 2026, the graduation ceremony of the 2026 CRRC Puzhen International Talent Training Programme, co-hosted by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd. and International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), took place at XJTLU. Attendees included Chengguang Zhang, Director of Human Resources at CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd.; David Hu, Acting Associate Dean for Executive Education and Enterprise at IBSS; Ying Jin, Business Development Director at IBSS; and academic staff involved in the programme. They came together to mark the successful completion of a month of systematic training.

The ceremony opened with a highlights video, featuring a range of learning activities including English immersion teaching, case studies, business simulation exercises, and cross-cultural scenario simulations. It captured the participants’ development from knowledge acquisition to building practical capability.

In his graduation address, Chengguang Zhang, Director of Human Resources at CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd., praised the participants’ dedication and commitment over the past month. He said the English-immersion, intensive and practice-focused training had significantly enhanced their strategic thinking, professional capability and global outlook, enabling a shift from passive adaptation to proactive planning. Using the keywords “embrace change” and “enrich life experiences”. He encouraged the graduates to see the programme as a new starting point, apply what they had learned into practice, and become a core force in the company’s international development. He also expressed sincere gratitude to IBSS for the programme’s professional delivery and meticulous support.

David Hu, Acting Associate Dean for Executive Education and Enterprise Innovation at IBSS, extended warm congratulations to the graduates and thanked CRRC Puzhen for its trust and support in this university-enterprise collaboration. He said the five-week programme was closely aligned with the core needs of enterprise internationalisation. Through modular courses, company visits and practical exercises, it strengthened participants’ core competencies in cross-cultural communication, global business operations, AI business application, and sustainable development, demonstrating both the ambition of CRRC Puzhen’s talent team. He added that graduation marked the start of a new journey, and that IBSS would continue to deepen its collaboration with CRRC Puzhen through industry-education integration and joint talent development. Together, the two sides aim to cultivate more high-calibre international talent to support the high-quality global expansion of China’s rail transit equipment industry.

Participant representative Zhongliang Wang reflected on the month-long learning journey. Through targeted training, participants made all-round progress in business English, cross-cultural communication, AI commercial application, global leadership, and macroeconomic analysis. They progressed from uncertainty and nervousness in international communication to greater confidence and professional assurance. On behalf of the cohort, he thanked CRRC Puzhen and IBSS for building a high-quality learning platform and pledged to apply the knowledge and skills gained to his work in support of the company’s overseas market expansion and global strategy.

During the ceremony, distinguished guests presented certificates of completion to all graduates and awarded the Excellent Participant Award and the Excellent Group Award in recognition of outstanding performance and teamwork throughout the training.
Centred on English-immersion learning, the programme focused on core competencies including international business operation, cross-cultural management and overseas compliance. It adopted an integrated approach combining theoretical teaching, case studies, and interactive practice, closely matching the company’s need for global talent development. The successful conclusion of the programme marked a significant milestone in industry-education integration and collaborative talent development between CRRC Puzhen and IBSS.Moving forward, both parties will continue to deepen strategic co-operation, further optimise the international talent development system, and bring fresh talent and innovation to the implementation of CRRC Puzhen’s international strategy and the continued advancement of China’s rail transit equipment industry up the global value chain.
