Dr. Xiaoyan Liang’s research paper was accepted by the International Journal of Human Resource Management

Dr. Xiaoyan Liang’s research paper, titled “Sustainable Human Resource Management: Italian HR Managers’ Perspective,” was recently accepted by the Journal of Small Business Management. The International Journal of Human Resource Management (IJHRM) is classified as a 3* in the Chartered Association of Business Schools Academic Journal Guide and an 'A' journal in the Australian Business Deans Council Journal Quality List. Serving as the forum for human resource management (HRM) scholars and professionals worldwide, IJHRM publishes papers covering any aspect of people management relevant to the field. IJHRM welcomes papers based in any discipline—for example, organizational behavior, occupational psychology, or labor economics—as long as there is a clear link to the HRM literature and they develop strong implications for HR practice.

Dr. Xiaoyan (Christiana) Liang is an Assistant Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU) and an Adjunct Lecturer at Central Queensland University (CQUniversity), Australia. She completed her PhD at Monash University in 2017 and has extensive teaching experience in subjects ranging from business ethics, leadership practices and principles, managerial communication, human resource management (HRM), innovation, critical thinking, managerial decision-making, and international HRM. Her research areas include Sustainable HRM, business ethics, CSR, corporate volunteer management, and leadership. She has published in journals such as the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Personnel Review, Journal of Global Information Management, Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and others. She has authored four book chapters in Employee Voice at Work, Contemporary Work and the Future of Employment in Developed Societies, and Contemporary HRM Issues in the 21st Century. Apart from her academic life, Dr. Liang has extensive experience in consultancy and executive education, having worked as a Session Chair of international conferences such as the Australia China Youth Dialogue, the Australian New Zealand Academy of Management Conference, and a frequently invited speaker for programs such as the International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) and the Australia China Entrepreneur Dialogue (ACED). She was also the invited keynote speaker for the 2021 HR Excellence Conference: The Future of Work and HR organized by the European Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai.
