AI Workshop
The AI Workshop is a leading domestic smart manufacturing practice base jointly established by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and Baidu Group, guided by the AI + new industrial era development strategy. Rooted in “Smart Manufacturing+” and integrated with artificial intelligence, the workshop aims to empower industry transformation and upgrading in the Suzhou region.
The AI Workshop has established a complete smart manufacturing ecosystem, with its core architecture consisting of the following functional units, interconnected through the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), forming an intelligent closed-loop production system:
MES System & Central Monitoring
The MES system and central monitoring room integrate system servers, display terminals, and operational platforms to create an efficient and integrated management platform for the production process.
Warehousing & Logistics Unit
Primarily comprises an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS), a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
Machining Center Unit
As a pivotal component of modern intelligent manufacturing systems, the Processing Center Unit meets the requirements for automated machining and manufacturing.
3D Printing Unit
This is an integrated system incorporating advanced manufacturing technologies, primarily composed of three key components: a stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer, an ultrasonic cleaning machine, and a UV curing chamber.
Assembly & Debugging Unit
Primarily comprises assembly testing production lines and production testing tools. It is capable of performing tasks such as circuit soldering, testing, and structural assembly.
