I. Scholarship Introduction

(1) Award Name

Jobene True Self Exploration Award · XJTLU Entrepreneur College Special Edition

(2) Initiators

Jointly established by Jobene and XJTLU Entrepreneur College

(3) Selection Objectives

To reward young explorers with entrepreneurial spirit, courage to explore future technologies (especially metaverse-related fields), willingness to express their true selves, and potential for long-term impact. The award encourages youth to practice the core values of “exploring the authentic self, technological idealism, and action over rhetoric” in technological innovation, self-breakthroughs, and social value creation.

(4) Target Recipients

Open to students of XJTLU Entrepreneur College and global young entrepreneurs/technology explorers (including current students and alumni within 3 years of graduation).

(5) Award Mission

Through a three-dimensional evaluation of “entrepreneurial spirit × metaverse technology × true self-expression,” the award identifies young leaders with innovation capabilities, cultural alignment, and social responsibility, providing them with resource support and brand empowerment.

II. Application Materials

1. Exploration Proposal (Required)

2. One Minute Video (Required)

  • Content: Freely showcase personal traits, explore motivations or project highlights. The form is not limited (such as vlog, animation, live shooting, etc.)
  • Format: MP4 format, resolution ≥720P, size ≤100MB

3. Project Documentation (Required)

  • Format: Choose one or more of the following: PPT, code repository link, product Demo (such as APK/web link), technical video, etc.
  • Requirement: Clearly present the technological innovation points, implementation achievements and social impact of the project

4. Optional Materials

  • Recommendation letters: 1-2, written by mentors, industry experts or entrepreneurial predecessors, highlighting the candidate’s unique advantages
  • Other supporting documents: such as patent certificates, award certificates, screenshots of user feedback, etc.

5. Final Interview

  • Format: In-person interview (preferred) or video interview, 30 minutes per person
  • Key point: Evaluate the candidate’s true temperament, cultural fit and long-term potential through free communication, and answer questions in a non-structured way

III. Panel Composition and Evaluation Process

1. Panel Composition (4 members):

  • Representative/Founder of Jobene to review in person (1 person): A senior professor at the Entrepreneurship College of Xi ‘an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, specializing in the combination of academic and practical assessment
  • Entrepreneurship Practice Alumni Representative (1 person): A successful entrepreneur within five years of graduation, with a focus on the assessment of entrepreneurial implementation capabilities
  • Technical field Reviewer (1 person): AI/XR/ Product direction expert (externally hired), responsible for professional assessment of the metaverse technology dimension
  • Representative o Jobene/Liu Ziyi personally reviewed (1 person): Core members of the brand, with a focus on the cultural fit and the matching degree of the long-term vision.

2. Stages:

  • Preliminary review (Quantitative scoring): The review panel quantitatively scores the application materials, calculates the total score in five dimensions, and selects candidates with a score of 75 or above to enter the interview pool
  • Interview (Quantitative + Subjective Impression): The interview session adopts a “60% quantitative score (based on the five-dimensional criteria) +40% subjective impression score (cultural fit, personal charm, etc.)” to form a comprehensive score
  • Final decision: The judging panel will hold a closed-door meeting, referring to the quantified scores and interview performance to determine the final list of winners

3. Review Principles:

  • Adhere to the “dual-track system”: quantitative scoring ensures fairness, and subjective impressions capture the unquantifiable potential and traits of candidates
  • Set a threshold: Only candidates who rank among the top 20 in total score and have a score of no less than 70 can be awarded the scholarship.

IV. Awards

XJTLU “Future Leader” recommendation letter (for education/employment).

2.Resources Support: 

  • Entrepreneurship Incubation: Offer three months of free workstations and mentor connection services at Xi ‘an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Entrepreneurship Park
  • Internship opportunity: The chance to intern and practice at Jobene

Funding: ¥10,000/person.

V. Supplementary Rules

1. Fraudulent applications will be disqualified with rewards revoked.

2. Confidentiality of business information is guaranteed.

3. Final interpretation rights reside with Jobene and XJTLU Entrepreneur College.
