Brief Introduction

Lilo is a gamified sports and fitness app designed to make staying active fun and rewarding. Users earn XP, streaks, and badges through daily challenges and progress, boosting motivation with leaderboards and level-up perks. The built-in journaling and progress logging features lets users track workouts, emotions, recovery and milestones with optional photo or video proof. Additionally, Lilo offers a venue finder and booking system to discover and reserve gyms or courts nearby, along with a sports equipment marketplace for renting, buying, or selling gear. Certified coaches and trainers are available for personalized support, while professional athletes can unlock premium tools like movement analysis and post-game performance breakdowns. A community feature connects users with like-minded people for group challenges, workout buddies, and shared motivation. To keep users engaged, a reward system offers gym coupons and discounts on sports apparel or (in XJTLU’s case, gym coupons) based on their consistency and achievements.

 

How it is being developed

UI/UX Design: Figma, Visily, and AnimaPro for wireframes mockups, and interactive prototypes; Frontend Development: React and JavaScript for building responsive and dynamic user interfaces; Backend Development: Xano (low-code backend) and Node.js for data handling, user management, and API integration

 

Expected outcome

The expected outcome of the Lilo app is a fully-functional and visually engaging mobile application. Once developed, we expect a clean, gamified user interface with dark and light mode options, interactive dashboards with real-time health and fitness data, personalized training and nutrition plans made by AI, gamification visuals, community feed, interactive maps, and coach and premium user profiles complete with performance analytics and movement replay visuals.
