经济研究促进学会(SAES)的愿景是成为中国领先的经济研究机构之一,其使命是提供一个跨学科的研究平台,将学者、商界和政策制定者聚集在一起,了解、讨论和解决与经济有关的实际问题。

作为社会科学的一种,经济学是一门海纳百川的学科,在微观经济学和宏观经济学等各个领域都有其细分的研究。为了更好地理解和解决特定的经济问题,人们对整合学科内经济研究的必要性越来越有共识。在当今一体化和相互联系的世界中,社会科学的其他学科之间也或多或少地应用了经济学的思想或方法,并为经济政策的制定提供了独特的视角。

SAES旨在探索如何通过对经济学工具在其他社会科学的运用,以及从其他学科中协同学习,借以促进新一代的知识流动和 “跨学科”的研究。其研究活动和成果将为经济政策的制定提供坚实的理论基础、工具和多学科视角。为此,学会组织了年度亚太经济学会议,特邀世界各地的学者进行每年一次的学术交流和切磋。


计算经济与金融实验室旨在为 IBSS 的教学和研究提供强大的计算能力。它位于 BS429,有四台 Dell OptiPlex 7000 台式机。其中三款配备 32GB DDR4,一款配备 128GB DDR4。这些机器可以在 IBSS 本地完成小规模但计算量大的任务,而无需申请集中计算能力。教职员工可以凭职员卡进入实验室,并凭学校证件登录终端。此外,我们的博士生、硕士生、SURF和FYP学生在获得导师许可的情况下也可以访问该实验室。


为了更积极地为经济和社会发展提供科技和管理服务,西交利物浦大学顺应市场潮流,于 2017 年初成立了西浦卓越运营与供应链研究院。

OSCE研究院的研究重点是开发和测试可以在企业中落地实施的创新方法和工具,以应对企业在实际运营过程中遇到的运作及供应链管理领域的挑战并优化它们的运营模式以获得长期的竞争优势。

OSCE研究院的战略定位是凭借其现有的企业网络,广泛的在苏州工业园区开展运营及供应链管理领域的行业合作。
OSCE研究院的总体目标是开发可以量身定制的方法和工具,为相关企业提供广泛而专业的咨询服务,将研究院打造为该区域运营及供应链管理领域专业知识和卓越中心。
