We are thrilled to announce that Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) will officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) on February 24th. Additionally, to celebrate this collaboration, we will be hosting a week-long ISCA Week promotion from February 24th to 28th.
With the globalization of the finance and accounting sectors, the cooperation between university education systems and professional certification bodies has become increasingly important. As a leading international business university in China, XJTLU has always been committed to nurturing future global professionals in specialized fields. ISCA, as Singapore's national professional accountant organization, holds authority and expertise in the accounting and finance industries, providing essential professional certification and academic guidance to professionals in these fields.
The cooperation between XJTLU and ISCA encompasses several aspects. Our Business School has successfully obtained ISCA's accredited degree programme, meaning that BMAN Accounting students who complete their undergraduate studies will be exempted from five out of six modules in the SCAQ foundation programme, with a waiver on related fees. Furthermore, ISCA will provide scholarship support to 20 outstanding Business School students to help them complete all modules from foundation programme. ISCA will also support the development of our accounting student society to deepen the cooperation between us.
The signing of this MOU and the hosting of ISCA Week mark the beginning of comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between us in areas such as talent cultivation, academic research, industry practice, and international exchanges. We will leverage our respective strengths to jointly cultivate high-quality global professionals who meet the needs of future industry development.
During ISCA Week, we will invite senior members and industry experts from ISCA to deliver lectures and engage in exchanges, sharing their professional knowledge and industry experience. This will provide our students with a valuable learning and practical opportunity to better understand industry trends and career development paths.

The SCAQ programme is dedicated to nurturing business leaders and trustworthy accounting professionals.
